Voltage Surf mirrors its in-game ethos: the only data flowing in this experience is the data you explicitly create — your score, saved locally in your browser. There is no upstream current carrying your information to our servers.

1. About Voltage Surf

Voltage Surf is a free, browser-based cyberpunk surfing arcade game. This Privacy Policy explains what data is involved when you visit and play, and what rights you have in relation to it.

2. What we collect

We collect the strict minimum required to operate the game:

localStorage (your device only): Your high score and in-game preferences are stored in your browser. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Server access logs: When your browser requests the game page our hosting server automatically records a standard log entry containing your IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp. These logs are retained only for security and uptime purposes and are purged on a rolling schedule.

We collect no names, email addresses, location data, payment details, or any other personal identifier.

We have architected the game so that even if you modify your browser to try to send us data, our server has no endpoint to receive gameplay information. The receiving infrastructure simply does not exist.

3. Cookies and browser storage

We set no cookies. We use browser localStorage solely to persist your high score between sessions on the same device. You may delete this data at any time through your browser’s privacy settings.

4. How we use data

Server log data is used only to keep Voltage Surf running reliably, diagnose errors, and block malicious traffic. It is never used for advertising, behavioural profiling, or sale to any third party.

5. Third-party services

All code, fonts, images, and scripts used by Voltage Surf are served from our own infrastructure. No third-party service receives any data signal from your visit to this game.

6. Children

Voltage Surf is a family-friendly game suitable for all ages. We collect no personal information from anyone, so no special parental consent is required for data-protection purposes.

7. Your rights

Your game data lives in your own browser under your own control. Since we hold no personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end.

8. Security

No personal data stored on our servers means a server-side breach cannot expose your personal information. Your localStorage data is protected by your browser’s built-in security model.

9. Sharing and selling
